I had a exact the same shield as a req 10/16 ar STR
Which i sold for around 35e

10/16 and 4/12 are very different animals.

The lowest req for 16 armour is 8. So if you really got 35e for a r10 you did very well indeed. Or you ripped someone off.

This one is 12 armour, which is the max armour for its req of 4. So it's max armour for its requirement. The max armour for each requirement runs as follows: 4/12, 5/13, 6/14, 7/15, 8/16. These are useful for PvP, and sometimes very valuable.

But the stance/ench mix makes it worthless.

But I think saying it's worthless because of the stance/ench combination is just as wrong.

Sure, the combination is unfortunate, but it's still far from worthless:

We're talking about a rather rare shield skin with, as you said, the maximum possibly armor at its requirement, and two perfect mods.

That alone is a very,very rare occurence. It's most likely the only one of it's kind currently in the game.

And the only place where one could find a Bladed Shield with inscription slot is from the Z-Chest, which only offers max shields.
So this isn't a shield skin available below 16 armor with inscription slot, making it even harder to get.

It still offers absolutely everything it could, it just has a mod combination that doesn't seem too useful. But there have been +30hp -2/ench dual modded oldschool shields before that sold for a good amount of money, and there should be builds that are fine with that combination.

So I think there should still be someone willing to pay good money for this, but I definitely wouldn't just pass it on to the merchant.

Zchest dont drop bladed and most canthan skin as they dont even come incriacble. For pc value. Thats useless. Can see collector paying 5-10e but not more

I think 13 armor is max for q4 non inscr. (there are q7/16 shields so ye) 7/16
6/15/ 5/14 4/13 etc

It's not particularly useful for regular gameplay because it only gives 12 armour.

Bladed shields are reasonably rare, but with it not being 16 armour, I still say it's not particularly valuable. Look me up. My credentials for making this assessment speak for themselves. I do know my stuff.

Stance/ench is ALWAYS worth a fraction of stance/stance or ench/ench on shields that can still drop today.

However, it is all relative. Max armour for a r4 might have merit for PvP. I'm not sure because I have social skills so therefore never played PvP. But I have sold many PvP shields over the years, and stance/ench was never sought after.

Personally I would merchant it because the time spent trying to sell it wouldn't be worth my time. And if you do have a 35e offer (which I don't believe) you should take it instantly. The buyer is ripping himself off.

Shields like that drop all day every day in normal mode cantha.
